Pokemon in Super Smash Bros. series (Part 2)

Ah, Good to post again, this is Pichu, say "hi" Pichu! ... Never mind he can't talk >.>

Anyway here is some information about Pichu from Melee, Pichu can only be unlocked by: Clearing Event Match:#37 or play 200 vs. matches.

Pichu is THE LIGHTEST character, lighter than Jigglypuff, but is is still easily combo'd due to its hitstun. Pichu is a very small character making it hard to hit, However when it is hit it can die VERY easily. Pichu has very limited range due to being small,all of its A Attacks are quick but have very limited range, however the electric attacks (Thunder, Thunder Jolt, Agility) have an extended hit-box that hurts Pichu. Despite all these disadvantages, Pichu has a solid killing power, and great recovery, it can also chain-grab characters. Overall however, Pichu is the worst tier character in melee.

* Pichu has two taunts: when facing left, it will do a dance, when facing right, it will lie down. This feature is shared with Captain Falcon (SSBM).
*When Pichu crouches, it falls asleep. This is clear because it's eyes are closed and bubbles come out of it's mouth, similar to when Jigglypuff uses it's Rest attack.
*Other than Super Smash Bros. Melee or by using Volt Tackle, Pichu had never been hurt by using electrical attacks in other games although they could faint for overuse of their electricity in animé as seen in the Entei movie.
*Pichu is the only Melee veteran not returning to Brawl to not have any data to be playable in the game (excluding Young Link who was replaced by Toon Link). However, due to the similarities between Brawl's Pikachu and itself, many people believe that it actually evolved into the Pikachu of Brawl.
*Pichu ducks lower when holding the super scope.
*Pichu is well-known for his double taunt, but in the Pokemon series, Pichu can't use the move Taunt.

Pokemon in Super Smash Bros. series (Part 1)

All right I lost my ruby and I figured I needed to post something just as good

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, there are 4 characters with one having 3 divisons to the character, these pokemon are: Jigglypuff, Lucario, Pikachu, and Pokémon Trainer. In Super Smash Bros. Melee however there were 2 other characters, Pichu and Mewtwo.

You will be reading infromation about all 8 of these characters, I hope you like it







Pikachu, the yellow rat that we all know as Ash's partner. Pikachu left Ash to play in Melee with the Fighters. As most of the players of this pokémon know, he has four moves from the games: Thunder (↓B), Thundershock (B), Skull Bash (←B), Quick Attack (↑B). When you played as a different color in melee, Pikachu wore either: a red Trainer hat, a blue magicans hat, or a green "buisness" hat. In the Melee tiers, Pikachu is 16th out of 26 characters, second best pokémon in melee.

Pikachu is trapped in a Subspace lab, having its electric powers drained by a machine. Luckily, Zero Suit Samus, who secretly infiltrated the lab to find her Power Suit, finds and rescues the Pokémon. From this point onward, Pikachu tags along with Samus throughout the base of the Subspace Army.

When Samus reaches the area with her Power Suit, she and Pikachu are ambushed by two Shadow Bug clones of her Power Suit. After defeating them, Samus regains her Power Suit, and the two continue traveling throughout the base.
Some time later, the duo are confronted by Ridley, who brutally damages Samus by dragging her across the wall. Pikachu is enraged at this and used Thunder on Ridley to save her.The two must then fight Ridley. After defeating Ridley, Pikachu and Samus escape from the ruins and find a cave.
Later they are seen running in the Ancient Minister's base, eventually bumping into him and the R.O.B. Squad. They are about to fight him but suddenly notice the Ancient Minister looking down as if he's sad.
As they look at his sorrow, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Captain Falcon and Olimar find another entrance to the room they're in. DK smashes the doors open with his fists, and the four barge into the room. Suddenly, a hologram of Ganondorf commands the R.O.B. Squad to use the remaining Subspace Bombs and attack the Ancient Minister. Together with the Ancient Minister, who is revealed to be a R.O.B. himself, the six heroes fight the Subspace Army, they escape on the Falcon Flyer and fight Meta Ridley on it. Pikachu then aids the heroes throughout the rest of the adventure.

When fighting with pikachu much hasn't changed in the moves, with the exception of getting a Final Smash. Pikachus costumes have changed excluding the red costume, the blue costume is goggles, and his green costume is a head band like the one from the male Ruby trainer. Pikachus Final Smash is the move Volt Tackle, which breaks the 4 move limit.

If I seem like rant on and on, please tell me. -begins introducing himself-

I am a competative battler, I joined the pokemon fandom in the 2nd generations ending, I have a knack with spriting, and I dislike the newer anime of pokemon.

I also like other things like "hoshi no kaabii" or "Kirby of the stars" subbed, I am on the smash and kirby wikis as well

what irratates me is: marbl12345678910, Ash's new voice, and my sister....

Anyway, I am planning on writing a journal on pokemon ruby soon for this blog so stay tuned.

Okay, soooooo sorry about not posting in awhile!! I have been way busy. But that's not what you're here for, to hear about my personal life, is it? So let's get down to business.

First off. Nintendo has finally given the fans what they want. Gold and Silver remakes. They are going to be called HeartGold and SoulSilver. I'm still personally leaning towards getting SoulSilver for Lugia. But who knows? Maybe Ho-oh is catchable in SS while Lugia is catchable in HG. The release dates are late Fall of 2009 for the U.S. So we have that to look forward to in the Pokémon world. Johto, here we come!

Okay in the last post, I said that I was still getting a feel for the game and that I was just barely going to Celestic Town. Well I beat the game that night actually. And I completed the post-game story of getting the National Dex and facing Dialga, Palkia, Cresselia, and all the other legends about a month ago. So in April.

Now I LOVE the Battle Frontier. The first thing I did was the Battle Factory. I somehow beat it on my first try with out even trying. But now I'm having such a hard time making it all 7 rounds. Now I know why they gave me 5 BP when I beat it... However now my favorite is the Battle Hall and Battle Castle. I love the Battle Hall because of how it's 1 on 1 battling. So it goes pretty fast. Now the Battle Castle is pretty fun because you earn points with every battle which are used to give you advantages in the next battle.

Now for a slightly interesting hobby I am getting into... Berry breeding. I love just going around and planting berries in all my daily spots (I'll explain that in the next paragraph.) so I'll never miss a watering treatment. My highest amount of berries I've gotten from one bush are 9 Pomeg berries. But my favorite berry is the Spelon Berry (No.31) because if you look at it's poffin statistics, it raises cool and beauty. Mainly cool. But by a lot. And I mainly do cool and beauty contests so it really helps. I also like the Pamtre Berry (No.32) for the same reason as the Spelon Berry. But I am in need of Leppa Berries!!! So if you have one, I'd really appreciate it if you could let me have it!!!

Well, as I said before, I have daily spots to hit in the game. When I say "daily spots", I'm talking about people giving you stuff once a day. Here's my list:

5. Lady that gives you a berry daily in Floaroma Town

6. Solaceon Town Newspaper

14. Resort Area Magikarp Pond (I fight one a day to see if it's a higher level than my level 98)

16. Pokemon League (I beat it once everyday)

So there's my daily list.

Another thing I've gotten into: Pokemon sorting. I'm talking about different ways to sort your pokemon in the PC. Here's how I have it right now: I organize them by their number. I'm talking about how I have my box names as 1-30, 31-60, etc. Then let's say I have my Pikachu in the PC. You'd find it in box 1-30 in the 25th spot of the box. Then my Raichu would be right after Pikachu. So my dream is to have every single pokemon at the same time. This way, I can have the ultimate PC ever created! *Maniacal laugh* Sorry. That happens a lot.

Platinum!!!!!!!

Okay, once again, I'm so sorry for not posting sooner! It's just nothing really exciting has happened in these past couple weeks. However, Pokemon Platinum Version came out! I pre-ordered it and got the last Giratina figure in stock. I am loving it more and more with every minute I play the darn game! So that's going to be the main topic of this post. But you shouldn't really be surprised.

Okay well if you noticed the time this was posted (Mom!!), it's because I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep. So I thought writing a post would help me get tired again. Besides, I've been meaning to do this for at least a week now... So now let's really get started!

Platinum finally came out (I also haven't posted because I've been getting a feel for the game to see what I could post about.)!! I love this game so much!! I have almost been playing it non-stop, but I am still not even close to being done with the story line. I am only just going to Celestic Town in the fog. It. Is. A pain. I am still trying to train my Monferno (original starter. Chimchar FTW!!) into an Infernape while I am also trying to train my Prinplup and Grotle (both GTS traded) so that's why I'm so far behind........ Okay maybe I am training all my others along the way. But mainly my Scyther that has amazingly good Attack and Speed.

Now, we have all noticed that some of the Pokemon sprites have changed. I am loving most of them. Especially Skuntank's (if you've seen it, you know why. ;)). Also, some of the major trainer sprites have been given an opening action for when the battle starts (I love out rival's sprite action!). So there is the info on the sprites.

New characters!! I love Looker!! His hair is amazingly amazing!! However, I am not into the new Galactic leader... He's just some old guy with a weirdly shaped nose... You may even call him Joec (inside joke to everyone over at WTPT. No offense Joec!!)!! But I have only seen those two new characters so far. If I've seen any others, I've forgotten them.

Now for my in-game team. It is constantly changing (for now), but here's what my main goal is. Scizor, Infernape, Giratina, Torterra, Empoleon, and Staraptor. I know, it's not a very well balanced team. But it will get me to where I need to go. I still don't have movesets for them though...

New apps!! I've only found one so far, but I am pleased to know there are new ones. I'm talking about the Matchmaker App. I got it at the Safari Zone (I know it's called the Great Marsh) from a farm girl by catching 5 Pokemon in one round. It can tell you which Pokemon in your team are compatible for breeding. I have some interesting ones... Such as my Eevee and Monferno... But I am trying to find more apps.

Okay for the last thing in this post. The redesigned gyms. I have liked some of them. I was disappointed with the Eterna Gym. It was just a flower clock with fountains. I loved Hearthome Gym!! It was kind of like a Mario Party mini-game (no seriously. It reminded me of it.)! But anyways. It was pretty cool seeing the designs so far.

Wow... This was longer than I thought it would be... Well that's okay. Longer is better! Maybe now I can go back to sleep! Please comment and/or follow!!

Sorry!

Okay. The last post I did on Wednesday. I made a mental note to post every Wednesday. Obviously, that didn't work out so well. But now, I'm going to post every week.  So just check in every now and again.

Okay. Let's start off with some Pokemon news. As you may know, Platinum Version is coming out on the 22nd of March. If you pre-ordered, you will receive an awesome Giratina Origin Form trading figure when you pick it up. So hopefully we've all pre-ordered!

The next bit of news, is the Regigigas Event. This is a Pokemon event that started this Sunday. It goes until the 21st of March and it is being held at any Toys'R'Us in the United States. I will be going with a friend (Chochobo from the forums of pallettribune.com) on Saturday and if you just happen to live by us, you might get a chance to see us! But that is a VERY small chance so don't be getting your hopes up!

Finally!! Jowy and KC have finally released the new episode of WTPT! It is the Blue Rescue Team episode! I LOVED this episode! Even IF Jowy sounded like a total nOOb when he was talking about it, it was awesome! But I'm an addict for that game so I guess it's better to be a nOOb than an addict!

Well I know this post is one of my longer posts, but that's okay! Longer is better! Most of the time at least. But it is getting late and I think I'm going to turn in for the night. So sorry for not posting sooner but I'm trying harder! So just please give me another chance! Bye!

Why I'm doing ANOTHER blog...

Okay so this is my third active blog that I own.  But this one, I decided for a bit of a change. I am making it a Pokemon blog.  This will have videos of me doing random stuff on my games, tips, info, some of my favorite Pokemon websites (WTPT!!!), and other stuff that's Pokemon related.

I basically started this blog because of a thing I've been listening to on my iPhone.  It's called a podcast which is basically this free radio show that you can find on iTunes.  The ones I have been listening to recently is WTPT.  These guys are HILARIOUS! It's formal, funny, helpful, and just a very well rounded podcast.  Search them on iTunes if you're interested in Pokemon, WAS interested in Pokemon, or basically just want to get into Pokemon but you just aren't sure how. I HIGHLY recommend listening.

So that's why I started this new blog. Please keep coming here and at least give me a chance with this.  Comment if you want to trade friend codes for Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2, Pokemon Diamond or Pearl, and Pokemon Battle Revolution and I'll gladly accept and I'll also never back down from a challenge.  Well, thanks for reading this!
